How far ahead do I need to book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable for a team session. Executive sittings can often be fitted in sooner. Large scale days around conference season book further out, so tell us early even if the date is not fixed.
The things people ask before booking. If yours is not here, ask — the answer usually ends up on this page.

Every booking is quoted as a fixed price once we know the headcount, the location and the date. There are no hourly rates and nothing is added afterwards, and every quote shows the VAT clearly. Send those three things and you will have a figure back the same day.
Moving a booking more than two weeks out costs nothing. Inside that we will always try to find another date rather than charge for the change.
Yes, for full-day bookings and conference work. Travel is quoted as a fixed sum up front rather than billed as expenses afterwards.
Four metres of clear space in one direction, one plug socket and a door that closes. A meeting room, a boardroom, a wide corridor or the corner of an open-plan floor all work. If you are not sure, send a photograph of the space.
About forty minutes before the first sitting, and fifteen to pack down. You get the room back the same afternoon.
Solid colours photograph better than patterns, and mid-tones sit well against both the light and dark backgrounds. A second layer gives you options. We send a short briefing note you can forward to everyone on the schedule.
Yes. We can bring a professional hair and makeup artist to work alongside the shoot, so people have a few minutes to settle in and feel camera-ready before their turn. Mention it when you enquire and we will include it in your quote.
For a handful of people we simply agree times with you. For larger groups we set up an online booking page where your team picks their own slots, so nobody has to chase anyone. Ten minutes per person on a rolling schedule.
Ten minutes for a team session, which is longer than it sounds — most people are finished with time to spare. An executive sitting is sixty to ninety minutes.
Yes. We light for glasses as standard, and colleagues should recognise you. Anti-reflective lenses help but are not necessary.
Everyone reviews their frames on a tethered screen before they leave the room and chooses their own favourite. Nobody is handed a picture they have not seen.
Tell us and we will keep the setup for them if there is time, or fold them into your next session. For large scale days the onsite editor means late arrivals are rarely a problem.
Executive sittings within three working days. Team sessions within five. Large scale days are delivered the same evening or handed over on the day, because an editor is working alongside the shoot. Need them sooner? Faster turnarounds can usually be arranged for an additional editing fee.
Web and print sizes, named to your staff directory convention so they can be imported without anyone renaming hundreds of files by hand. Tell us the format you need and we will match it.
Anything connected with your organisation — website, intranet, press, print, social, conference material — with no time limit and no additional licence fee. The photographs remain our copyright, so we ask not to have them resold or passed to third parties.
At least six months, so you can come back for a different crop or an extra retouch without a reshoot. We often keep them longer, but we cannot archive indefinitely, so please keep your own copies.
Send us the headcount and your preferred date, and we’ll recommend the right fit for you. We are happy to talk through any of your questions before you decide.
